Oil Pump and Heating in a Warehouse
Our customer Alan Bartlett & Sons needed to improve the heating in their large warehouse and picking areas. The meant installing an oil pump heating system in their large warehouse.
This may sound simple. However, the complicating factors are as follows:
- The picking area had to remain operational while we were working. In addition to this, significant Health and Safety issues required resolutions.
- The oil pump lines were very long. Furthermore, the only way to reach the oil burners was to install a customised oil pump.
- The flue routes needed careful planning to avoid the need to install solar panels on the roof.
After detailed analysis of the requirements, our quote for the work beat the competition from other suppliers. We completed the project on time and within budget. The pictures demonstrate that we installed all the required elements in a neat and tidy fashion.
Further to completion of this work of installing an oil pump heating system in a large warehouse, we are pleased to say we have had follow up work from engineering Manager Robin Allebone. The additional work is to carry out servicing of the other heating equipment on the premises.
